After undergoing extensive revisions, every character now appears to be more robust and grounded in reality. The graphics in this installment is a significant step up from those in the previous games in the series. A brand new feature dubbed the Heat System causes your character to launch into ferocious fights, complete with unique skills and powerups. Tekken's signature fighting game style remains intact, and its visceral, screen-jarring strikes and dynamic, destructible surroundings make for a thrilling experience to date, for both players and spectators. The game's new aggressive gameplay is a major update to the franchise. Even though many of their courses are identified by the Mishima name, the game has finally moved on from its repetitive father-son story, despite the fact that many of their courses bear the Mishima moniker all throughout the franchise.

In Tekken 8, each of the playable characters you choose has its own unique and interesting backstory that players can learn about.
